Stop making fun of the iPad.
Yes, it does seem kind of stupid. Yes, the name is pretty funny. Yes, there’s no flash. But people, stop. This is the same reaction to the iPhone years back, and the iPod a decade ago. Everyone thought it was dumb. Who’d want a phone like that? Who’d need a mp3 that expensive? So if you do have an iPod/iPhone, don’t be surprised if you own a iPad in a few years.

Dream job.
Advertising, advertising, advertising. Oh how much I love you. You’re the perfect combination of logical and creative sense, the perfect line between thinking and living.
Oh yes. Ever since the lovely Z has opened my eyes to graphic design and advertising, I fell in love. The bonds, connections, you make with your group/team/class members are unbelievable, and your work changes how people...

Memories.
I began my volunteer hours today at FA chinese school. It was my first time to be back in those classrooms, listening to the teacher lecturing in chinese. No matter how much I’ve said I hated it, how much I’d rather not be there, I take it ALL back. I’m sorry.
Chinese school was one of the best experiences of my life, especially the later years. I felt a pang when I was helping...
2010 seems to be off to a good start.
Side note: My tumblarity crashed today. YES! That’s means I’m off Tumblr more! Resolutions FTW. (Down 291 from 385 to 94!)
So with today being the first day back from winter break, I was helluva scared. Scared to get my essay back. Nervous for the APBiology test. HA. Fears are all gone. For now. I like my essay grade, and my test is postponed until tomorrow. Thank goodness.
But now...
It's time to work again.
I must say, for everyday of the past two weeks, I’ve been dreading today. Not only because the winter vacation is over, but because we have to return to our “scohlarly” lifestyles as students. One thing I’m glad about, for sure, is that we Cordero kids are done with Mists. HA LAUGHING IN YOUR FACES. jkjk. I think that is the only positive thing right now. We heading back to...

Art Center. I love it. I love how a group of unlikely kids could bond together with something they love to do. I’m looking forward to competing with them someday.
I
Advertising. Why do I love it? I love how it messes with people ;) An ad can change people’s perspectives, make people laugh, make people scared, make people.. crazy; Ads speak to you. They want your attention. They want...

on death&dying.
I’m actually a very frightened little big (happy, emily?) boy. There’s a reason why I can’t watch horror movies, or bloody movies (historical-based movies are okay, I already know that is in the past). I really, really, really am afraid of death. Well, not death or the moment of death itself, but what comes afterwards. I can’t possibly imagine just not knowing, disappearing...
I hope 2010 brings change.
I do. I’m a bit tired of the same old same old. It’s sad that as of right now, what I’m looking forward to in twentyten is getting a new phone in June. Yes, it’s lame I know, but that is the biggest highlight that I know of so far. Oh, and getting over with school, but it’s just going to start again, so that doesn’t really mean anything anymore.
I really would...
winter break.
Note: There are strikethroughs in the post, click the permalink to see them if they don’t show up.
This Last Year’s winter break wasn’t so hot. For the first time in a few years, I stayed home to celebrate Christmas and New Years, and I was pretty excited. The first week was fun and relaxing, I didn’t really do anything productive. The Christmas parties were fun, albeit...

this. story of my life.
the web.
I think I rediscovered the web in high school. Ever since HS began, I’ve constantly been using the computer and surfing the web. Engadget, Gizmodo shaped my obsession with electronics, while Youtube and KKBox drove my obsession of asian music to the max. Yahoo and Google changed the way I searched. And oh, the domain name altonwang.com, brought be more and more obsessed with the web.

I'm looking forward to 2010. part two.
A glance into the past.
To be truthful, I don’t really remember most details about my life. So much important things have happened in this decade, I forget the more insignificant things and the lesser events. Here’s what I do remember.
In 2001, 9/11 devastated America. Sadly, I was too young to care. I am indifferent to it now, because is is such a terrible and sad event, but I...

I'm looking forward to 2010. part one.
All of it.
Although every year I make the same resolutions, and every year I fail to accomplish them, and every year I think it is the year when I will reach my goals. No more. 2010 is the end of the decade, taking away ten years of our childhood and throwing in ten years of teen/adulthood. Let’s make a few resolutions this year.
2010 Resolutions: 1) Take my future (aka college) more...
End of blog.
Past this post, you’ll see posts of before I controlled myself on Tumblr, hence many posts are irrelevant or are going to be a waste to time. You don’t want to go through 1034 posts for December.
End.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
happy end-of-decade!
