Places I’ve visited #1
高雄新崛江.
XinJueJiang, Kaohsiung, Taiwan.
This place was amazing. It felt different, more alive, more exciting. The streets and alleyways were small, but there were so many to walk through. Everything was cheaper than in the north, and there were so many food stands, from mango ice cream to grilled corn. From the main entrance, there is a huge arcade, and lining the streets are clothing shops and stands. I spent some good deal of money buying a lot of clothes here, but watch out. Because it isn’t a real store, the quality is cheap, some of my clothes are falling apart. In the front of this maze of streets, are an entire road of one shoe store after another. Because they were legit stores, the price went up considerably.
If you ever visit southern Taiwan, this is a must.
